Lounge

The community hub of our centre is our spacious lounge area, it is warm, friendly and light. Perfect for comfortably passing the time of day, plus there’s always someone to chat to and you can enjoy our regular events such as games and musical recitals.

Home Cooked Kitchen

With an emphasis on traditional home cooked food made from fresh local produce our kitchen offers excellent value for money meals and mouth-watering choice. And of course tea, coffee and freshly baked cake and biscuits are available all day.

Library

A small but considered collection of fiction, non-fiction, local history books and periodicals are available for day-to-day reading and short loans.

Personal Care

Everyone needs a little care now and again, so for that reason thoughtful and caring professionals are at hand to help anyone with extra help they may need with chiropody, bathing and hair care.

ACTIVITIES

We have everyone’s weekly favourites and a host of special occasions to entertain you. The fun never stops at Pengarth as activities are at the heart of our experience; visitors will find both regular weekly favourites and a host of special events to entertain them.

Weekly Favourites

Traditional favourites take place every week: Bingo, Whist and Scrabble are all enjoyed as are frequent musical recitals with many popular local choirs and musicians being very regular visitors… after all, who doesn’t like a good old sing song!

Themed Events

At Pengarth we love an excuse to put on our posh frocks and host a party. Annual celebrations such as St. Piran’s day, the Queen’s birthday and Halloween are all looked forward to and make a great special occasion.

The Gardens

Morrab Gardens is one of the best sub-tropical gardens in the country, and best of all it’s on our doorstep. Perfect for a stroll on a sunny day to work up an appetite for lunch.
